RSI (Racing Solutions Inc.)
Dyno Day
1/11/2003
Finished installing the fuel system the morning of the dyno day. Worked on it
until 2am and then back at it at 9am to finish it up and then head to RSI around
noon. Didn't have time to "tune" it with the SpeedBrain at the house. I sat in
the parking lot before I was scheduled to be up on the dyno and configured a
program via the laptop. I also borrowed a timing light (thanks Ron!!) and dialed
it in.

It was then my turn on the dyno. I informed the tech that was going to do the pull to hit the aux. fuel switch at 4k and pull until the shift light came on (5500). The first pull was only pulled to 5200 and netted only 430rwhp. The second pull was much better. A full pull to 5600 and a nice 470rwhp. The A/F was below 12 once the aux. fuel pump was switched on.
Considering the bottom end is bone stock and the only addition to this setup
since the last dyno session was the Lunati 51014 cam. 50+rwhp by adding the cam
wasn't too shabby. Time for some aluminum ported heads, better bottom end and a
free flowing intake.
